Resources & Help

Find resources shared by successful Mary Kay® sales directors that will help you become more productive: training materials, ideas and inspiration, as well as unit websites, newsletter editing and publishing resources, and other practical communications tools that can help you save time and money.

  • Demo: Unitville Features Overview, a 10-minute self-running overview of Unitville's main functions, including Library, Newsletter and Unit Websites, with sound.
    Click to run it.

  • Library of Training Materials: Structured and categorized , so you can find just what you need and save time, too. The Unitville Library provides for archiving of materials in several languages. As a Unitville Community member, you can add and retrieve documents to/from the Library yourself. Word and Pub files are converted to pdf’s automatically, and either the original version or pdf can be downloaded to your pc. Note: As a Premium service, Unitville also provides for converting of pdf files to Word files (see Unit Websites below).

  • Visit your Director’s Website: If your Director has a Unitville unit website, you can select it from the website list. If you are not a unit member but want to visit a Director’s website, she can permit your visits by adding your name and email address to her website’s access list. Just send her an email. (This is done because Unitville websites are meant primarily for a Director’s own unit members. If you are looking for training materials, they are freely available to all Community members in the Unitville Library, rather than being tied to a particular member’s website.)

  • Visit Your National’s Area Website: Area directors can access their National’s website with her permission. If her Area website is not accessible to you, just send her an email to add you to her website access list. Please note that any NSD’s Area website can be accessed freely by all other Nationals who are Unitville members unless she has specifically requested us to restrict it. For information on services for NSD’s, just email us.

  • Unit Websites: Easy to Use -- Easy to Access. Publish your newsletter on-line. Keep your consultants up to date on events they need to attend. Tailor your training materials to your consultants' needs. Link to specific articles in the Unitville Library. Unitville is unique in providing the ability to create and maintain your own website. While it may sound daunting, it is in fact very easy to create your own look and feel, include your own content and your own images. Remember that you can add documents from the Unitville Library with a couple of clicks and add images from the Unitville Image Library or right from your pc. The webpage editor looks like Word, with font control and icons.

  • Create a Printable Newsletter. Save time by creating an on-line newsletter that can also be mailed, and save money by posting your newsletter on your Unitville website instead of printing/mailing it to consultants who have pc's. You can use Unitville’s setup page and layout page to describe the look and feel of each page, including banner image, font styles, section borders and a uniform theme. We use this setup information to gather your Recognition reports from MaryKayInTouch and format the pages. You then download to your pc the “templates” Unitville has created and add your page content using Publisher. When you are done, you will use Unitville to publish your newsletter (by creating a pdf file, adding it to your unit website, and notifying your unit members by email that it is available). You can also print and mail it.
